My Story
My name is Keaton Eccleston. I'm a Registered Kinesiologist and TPI Level 2 Fitness and Power Instructor, and a handicap 2 golfer myself. Over the past two years I've had the privilege of working with golfers who were losing distance, playing through pain, and wondering if their best golf was behind them.
This is exactly why I created Fore-Ever Strength. To give golfers over 45 the tools to play stronger, hit further and stay competitive for as long as they want to play.
What I've learned from working with golfers of all ages and ability levels is that the biggest barrier to playing great golf after 45 isn't flexibility or technique. It's strength. The kind of foundational, functional strength that supports a powerful, pain-free swing and keeps your body resilient round after round.
My approach is grounded in the research. Studies consistently show that lower body strength, hip extension power, and rapid force capacity are the most significant physical predictors of clubhead speed. That's where I focus. Not on gimmicks, not on endless stretching, but on building the kind of strength that translates directly to the course.
My Coaching Philosophy
Evidence First
Every exercise and program recommendation is grounded in peer-reviewed research. I don't guess. I apply what the science actually says about strength training and golf performance.
Age-Appropriate
Training after 45 is different. Recovery takes longer, movement patterns matter more, and the goal is longevity. Every program I build respects where you are and builds from there.
Strength Over Flexibility
Most golfers spend too much time stretching and not enough time building strength. A strong body moves freely. Strength is the foundation and everything else follows.
